FROM MY WORLD
The Best-Kept Secret in Europe
I did it. I left Canada behind and started a new chapter in Bulgaria.
After years of harsh winters, high taxes, and feeling like my freedoms were slowly slipping away, I knew it was time for a change. With my Canadian passport in hand, I made the move—and honestly, I couldn’t be happier.
Why Bulgaria?
Well, while most people head to places like Portugal or Panama, I wanted something different, something off the beaten path.
And Sofia? It surprised me in the best possible way.
At first, it was a bit of a shock. The narrow roads, the old buildings—it’s not Canada’s shiny infrastructure, that’s for sure. But as I explored more, Sofia started to grow on me.
The cost of living here is a game-changer. You can get a spacious, high-ceilinged apartment for what would barely cover a small condo back in Canada.
Even the food here is incredible—fresh, flavorful, and so much cheaper. A dinner for four at a high-end restaurant costs about as much as a couple of coffees in Toronto.
The lifestyle here is refreshingly different too. It’s slower, people are warm, and family is everything.
In Canada, having kids in your 30s can feel like a novelty, but here, it’s the norm. The city is built for families, and the sense of community is something I didn’t realize I was missing.
Of course, Bulgaria has its quirks.
The winters are milder, but if I ever need my snow fix, the mountains are just a short drive away. The internet is lightning-fast and way cheaper than in North America. And surprisingly, a lot of people speak English really well. My kids are settling in, and the international schools here are top-notch.
It’s early days, and I’m still figuring things out, but Bulgaria has given me something I didn’t know I needed—a sense of possibility. I’m not sure if this is our forever home, but right now, it feels like the right place to be.
It’s funny how a change of scenery can change your whole outlook on life.
List building and affiliate marketing gave me the freedom to choose the life I wanted.
So, if you’re fed up with the grind and dreaming of a place where your money stretches further, where the food is better, and where you can live life on your terms—consider looking beyond the usual day job.
You might just find your own slice of paradise, just like I did.

LESSONS FROM LEGENDS
Cialdini’s Persuasion Techniques Can Boost Your Sales
What if I told you that giving something away for free could be the key to skyrocketing your sales?
It sounds counterintuitive, but this powerful concept is at the heart of Robert Cialdini’s principles of influence, particularly the power of reciprocity.
Cialdini’s groundbreaking research revealed that when you give someone something of value—whether it’s information, a free sample, or even just your time—they feel an innate obligation to return the favor.
This simple yet profound psychological trigger can dramatically increase your conversions and build lasting customer loyalty.
But Cialdini didn’t just theorize about this—he put it into practice. One famous example comes from a study he conducted involving a university experiment where participants were given a free soft drink.
Those who received the drink were more likely to purchase raffle tickets from the researcher afterward, often spending significantly more than the value of the drink.
The result? A clear demonstration that a small act of giving can lead to a much bigger return.
Incorporate this principle into your marketing strategy, and watch as your audience starts to feel that same urge to reciprocate.
Whether you’re offering a free eBook, a trial period, or even just exceptional customer service, the power of reciprocity can transform your business, turning casual prospects into loyal customers.
MINDSET MAKEOVER
Your Mind is the Real Battlefield
Let’s dive into something that’s as old as time but as relevant as ever—The Art of War by Sun Tzu.
I know, I know, it sounds like I’m about to start talking about ancient battlefields and sword fights, but trust me, this has everything to do with your mindset and success in online marketing.
One of the core principles from Sun Tzu’s legendary book is something you’ve probably heard a thousand times but might not have fully embraced: "You have to believe in yourself."
Yeah, I know it sounds like a cliche you’d hear from your fourth-grade teacher, but here’s the thing—without this belief, you’re doomed to fail before you even start.
When I first started offering coaching, I had the audacity to charge $2,500. Then I pushed it to $5,000, then $8,000, and eventually $12,000.
Was my content better than others out there? Not really.
But my belief in my value was rock solid.
It wasn’t just about what I was selling; it was about the confidence behind the sale. And let me tell you, that belief in yourself is what makes people say “yes” when you’re asking for big money.
But here’s the kicker—believing in yourself doesn’t automatically guarantee success.
However, not believing in yourself guarantees failure.
It’s a non-negotiable.
I’ve seen talented people with all the right skills crash and burn because deep down, they didn’t think they deserved success.
One tiny doubt, one whisper of "maybe I’m not good enough," and they’re done.
Your self-image—the way you see yourself and your potential—is everything. It’s not just about thinking you look good in the mirror; it’s about believing you’re capable of achieving greatness.
The same applies to your mindset in business. If you don’t believe you can charge premium prices, lead a successful launch, or become a top marketer, you won’t.
Your mind will find ways to sabotage you.
You’ll hit a ceiling you can’t break through, and it’ll all come back to that little voice inside that says, “You can’t.”
So, I would suggest you to believe in your victory before the race begins. Cultivate that belief relentlessly. Your success depends on it.
It might sound simple, but it’s deep, it’s powerful, and it’s essential.
And like Sun Tzu said, "The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting."
But the enemy isn’t always out there.
Sometimes, the toughest battle is the one happening in your own mind. Win that battle, and the rest will fall into place.
