FROM MY WORLD
If you don't want to eat cake, …
I was a skinny kid up until the age of seven. By twelve, I was already thirty-five pounds overweight.
My parents always told me it was because I was "big-boned." Talk about a genetic curse!
As I grew older, I realized being smart wasn’t enough. I wanted to feel comfortable in my own skin and gain the approval of the opposite sex. So began my seven-year battle with the bulge.
And guess what? The biggest lesson wasn't about kale smoothies or celery juice.
It's this: If you don't want to eat cake, don't buy a cake!
Don't rely on willpower. Create an environment where temptations don’t exist. Make it inconvenient to indulge in your weaknesses. Make it hard to be bad.
I used to live in a house full of junk food. It was like living in a candy store, but with zero self-checkout.
Now, in my own place, I'm the food bouncer. No unhealthy snacks allowed! Even with the willpower of a superhero, those snacks are dangerous if they're within reach.
This trick works for everything.
Want to be rich? Hang out with rich people. Want to be fit? Hit the gym with those fitness fanatics. Surround yourself with what you want to become.
When I moved to Canada, I picked a fancy neighborhood. Everyone had cool cars and houses. It made me want to step up my game too.
So, what's your environment like? Is it a cozy nest for your dreams or a junk drawer of distractions? Clean house and watch your life change. Change your scenery to change your story.

LESSONS FROM LEGENDS
The Timeless Trick for Turning Prospects into Buyers
One of my favorite marketers of all time is Gary Halbert. One of Halbert's most important commandments was the importance of understanding your customer deeply. He famously said, "The problem is never in the product. The problem is always in the offer."
Halbert believed that crafting an irresistible offer was the key to converting prospects into buyers. But how did he create such compelling offers? It wasn't magic; it was meticulous research.
Halbert would go to great lengths to understand his target audience. He'd visit their neighborhoods, shop at their stores, and even read the magazines they subscribed to. He knew that the better he understood his customers' desires, fears, and dreams, the more effective his copy would be.
"If you want to write great copy," Halbert advised, "you need to understand people. What makes them tick? What are their hopes and dreams? Get that right, and you'll never struggle with sales again."
Luckily for us, we don't have to go to such great lengths to do our marketing research anymore. We can just leverage A.I. to do most of that work.
Before writing any kind of marketing materials or crafting any offers, I always use A.I. to craft a detailed customer persona of my target audience. I start with a broad description of my target audience, then use A.I. to get deep, and ask the right questions until I understand their desires, fears, and dreams just as Halbert did.
By combining Halbert's timeless wisdom with the power of modern technology, we can create offers that resonate on a profound level. The key is empathy and connection—understanding your customer better than they understand themselves. Do this, and you'll never struggle with sales again.
MINDSET MAKEOVER
Do You Suffer of Learned Helplessness ?
In the 1960s, an evil scientist, let’s call him Alfred, conducted experiments that exposed a dark side of human psychology.
He shocked dogs after ringing a bell, and soon enough, the dogs reacted to the bell alone as if they were shocked. This classical conditioning revealed something deeper when Alfred set up another experiment. He placed dogs in a crate divided by a low wall, electrifying one side. Expecting the dogs to jump to the safe side, he was shocked (pun intended) to see them lay down, accepting their fate.
Now, you might be thinking, "I'm not a dog. If I get shocked, I'd jump the barrier." Sure, on the surface, you’re right. But dig a little deeper.
Think back to when you first tried email marketing, paid ads, or creating your own product. You failed once, twice, and soon enough, you stopped trying. You learned to expect failure. This phenomenon is called "learned helplessness."
This isn't some innate flaw. We're not born believing we're incapable. It's a mindset we develop through repeated setbacks.
Like a baby elephant tied to a stick, we learn our limits and stop pushing against them, even when we have the strength to break free.
How many opportunities did you miss because you thought, “What’s the point in trying?” How many dreams did you abandon, believing failure was inevitable?
What if you had just pushed a little harder, tried a different approach? Winners are stubborn. They fail, and they fail again, but they don't give up. They keep trying until they find what works.
Don’t let failures condition you to think you can’t succeed.
