I'm moving to Bulgaria. When I mention this, everyone asks, 'Why Bulgaria? Why not Portugal, Puerto Rico, or Mexico?' There are several reasons. First, Bulgaria is accessible—it's one of the few countries that we can enter quite easily.
Another advantage is its conservative nature. Bulgaria has not embraced 'woke' culture as much; it has more traditional values similar to those from my childhood—more conservative, family-oriented, and focused on education, not as influenced by the progressive movements prevalent in the West.
Additionally, the cost of living is significantly lower; if I maintain the same standard of living I have in Canada, I would probably spend about 30% of what I currently make. This includes expenses for private schooling, a nice car, a large house, and even a summer vacation home on the Black Sea.
Furthermore, the taxes are much lower than in Canada. It's quite simple: if my income remains the same, and even if my expenses didn't change, just by moving to Bulgaria, I will grow richer every year.
